amici direct vision prism

The Amici Direct Vision Prism is a combined prism for splitting light beams into a spectrum without deflecting them. It comprises an alternating combination of two crown glass prisms and one flint glass prism; blackened on the outside.

The prism can be used with the Holder on Stem for Direct Vision Prism, enabling it to be used with optical riders and optical benches for a range of demonstrations and experiments, on topics such as spectral lines and complementary colours.
