Deluxe Child CRiSis Mannequin
The Deluxe Child CRiSis Mannequin is a mannequin for training a range of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) procedures as well as ECG, pager and defibrillator practice. It features a full-body size of a 5-year-old child.
ACLS Procedures
The mannequin has been designed to enable a range of advanced cardio life support procedures to be trained, including:
- CPR
- Airway management
- Blood pressure management
- I.V. injection
- Intraosseous infusion
This helps to provide a comprehensive level of training to students in a safe and controlled environment.
The IV arm is articulated at the biceps to provide antecubital and dorsal access. It features a realistic flashback from a pressurised system and replaceable skin and veins. The smaller lumen tubing simulates the size of children's veins.
The mannequin also features palpable landmarks for intraosseous infusion, including the patella, tibia and tibial tuberosity. Additionally, the pressurised system allows for aspiration of fluid, and the bodes and skin can be replaced.
The mannequin also features a fully articulated head, neck and jaw for performing CPR. It features palpable visual landmarks and a palpable carotid pulse.
ECG Training
The mannequin also enables a range of ECG training procedures to be carried out, including:
- Defibrillator practice
- Pacer training
The mannequin includes an ECG Simulator which enables it to simulate 34 different rhythms - all arrhythmias can be displayed in adult or paediatric mode - which will be displayed on a connected ECG monitor (not included). This allows a range of diagnostic and defibrillation training scenarios to be performed.
