Friction Measuring Apparatus

The Friction Measuring Apparatus is a piece of demonstration apparatus for measuring static and dynamic friction. It can measure friction as a function of an area, the force between two surfaces or the combination of materials. This kit requires no additional accessories, and demonstrations can be set up just from what's included. 

Constant Speed

The movable surface of the apparatus is moved at a constant speed under a static body connected to a dynamometer. This makes it much easier to measure dynamic friction.

inclinable Friction Track

The friction track of the apparatus can be inclined along ts length, enabling the force between the two surfaces to be varied.
