Ice Bomb

The Ice Bomb is a clamping set-up for demonstrating volumetric expansion of water on freezing, as well as the tremendous forces which can be exerted in the process. Comprising a steel cylinder with a clamping rib and plastic lid, 10 cast-iron bolts are supplied for breaking in the course of the experiment.
