Life/Form Chest Tube Mannequin
The Life/Form Chest Tube Mannequin provides a great model for training the management of pre-hospital chest trauma and ongoing tube maintenance.
Cut-Away Viewing Areas

a Range Of Interactive Conditions
The right side of the mannequin features a pressurised tension pneumothorax, which relieves air which has accumulated within the pleural space, restricting lung inflation.
The right side also features a site for placing chest tubes to relieve pleural effusion by draining fluids from the pleural space. The colour, volume and viscosity of this liquid can be controlled by the instructor. allowing a range of scenarios to be performed.
This makes the mannequin ideal for teaching the concepts and mechanics of of closed water-seal drainage systems such as "Pleur-Eva" type units.
