It has foam strips which facilitate safe and easy disposal of sharps, such as hypodermic needles.

The Foam Strip Needle Counter features adhesive tabs which can be used to secure the counter to any work space. The counter itself separates in half for dual usage in different areas. The Medline Foam Strip Needle Counter is a sterile product and is available for purchase in a 60 count version, which uses magnetic fixation.
