Overweight Fred CPR Mannequin
The Overweight Fred CPR Mannequin is designed to teach students to respond to a cardiac arrest situation in an overweight and elderly person. The mannequin has been designed to feature an elderly appearance. This provides a new dimension to CPR training - teaching students how to respond to an elderly person in a cardiac arrest situation.
The overweight design also adds another level to CPR training - the mannequin features a layer of "fat" and a large body type which students will have to deal with when performing CPR.
Realistic Design
The mannequin also has a range of features designed to add more realism and more options to CPR training. It features a realistic head tilt and chin lift, enabling students to learn how to correctly open the airway before performing CPR.
Additionally, the mannequin features palpable and visual anatomical landmarks, including the sternum. This helps to teach students how to feel for where to best perform chest compressions.
Trainers can even setup the airway in the mannequin to simulate airway obstruction or a choking situation.
Replaceable Parts
The mannequin comes with three replaceable mouth/nose pieces and three lung/airway systems, which can be replaced to keep the mannequin hygienic. More of these parts can be bought separately:
The Overweight Fred CPR Mannequin also includes a handy carrying bag for easy transport and storage.
