Rotation Apparatus

The Rotating Apparatus can be used to determine the angular acceleration as a function of the torque as well as investigating the moment of inertia in regards to the mass and distance from the axis. Weights can be attached to a cross bar, which is in turn supported by an axle on agate bearings. Both a single and multiple pulley system are located on the axle and a length of string passes over these, attached to a weight providing the driving force.
