Teltron Perrin Tube D

The Teltron Perrin Tube D consists of a highly evacuated electron tube with a focusing electron gun, a fluorescent screen and a Faraday cage situated on one side. The tube is suitable for estimating the specific electron charge (charge-to-mass ratio) and illustrating the negative polarity of electrons through magnetic deflection into the Faraday cage. The cage is connected to an electroscope for easy measurement taking. Two magnetic fields can deflect electrons at right angles to each other and demonstrate the effect by generating Lissajou figures.
