Flat Coil in a Rotatable Frame

The Flat Coil in a Rotatable Frame is designed to be used with the Helmholtz coils. Mounted on a plexiglas frame, the coil can rotate in the magnetic field of the Helmholtz coils. When this occurs, an alternating voltage is created. Sliding contacts establishes an electrical connection and a hand-crank and pulley are used to drive the coil as they are positioned on the rotary frame's axle.
