Pair of Helmhotz Coils on Mounting Plate

The Pair of Helmhotz Coils on Mounting Plate is designed to measure the Helmhotz configuration as well as testing the uniformity of a magnetic field. Two coils are positioned parallel to each other on a robust metal base plate and one coil is moveable. A holder for a magnetic field sensor is in place to measure the magnetic field and two scales allow the coil separation to be monitored and quantified.
